We had a great time celebrating with the children of Dolau Primary School who wore fantastic creations of Easter bonnets, whilst Councillor Geraint Hopkins entertained us on the piano.

However, choosing a winner from the high standard of entries alongside the Deputy Older People’s Commissioner for Wales and others was difficult. But congratulations to everyone involved in making this year’s event a success.

Also congratulations to Mr Gareth Evans, the former Headteacher of Dolau Primary School for 34 years, who was awarded the esteemed ‘Freedom of the Community’. The second person to ever have received the honour.
