Following the visit Huw Irranca-Davies MS said:
“It was a real pleasure to visit Maesteg-based manufacturer Siderise today, to learn about their cutting edge products, speak to their skilled workforce, and hear more about their really exciting plans for expansion and new products.
Our tour of the existing plant and future expansion meant there were plenty of questions from local councillors Cllr Gareth Howells and Cllr Paul Davies, and Bridgend Cabinet Member Cllr Dr Charles Smith. It was wellies and hard-hats all around!
Siderise Group is a UK and global leader, based right here in these valleys. It’s a hidden gem, and a market leader, with some of the finest talent in manufacturing and product development, and with plenty of long-serving and loyal staff too.
It’s great to celebrate a success like this, and manufacturing excellence too.”
